Add Tag | Summary: | The main goal of this research project was to propose security strategies for Information Management in the Pujilí Campus of the Technical University of Cotopaxi 2023. Which was carried out through a documentary review by applying an interview and a survey consisting of seven items, using a quantitative methodology, where a detailed view of the current information security of the institution was obtained. The results of the survey revealed questions that impacted the investigation since the information is exposed to hackers, there is also a percentage that supports the implementation of an information security plan, and finally, they point out that a risk analysis has almost never been carried out in the institution, were the most impressive results obtained through this instrument. This has allowed us to develop solid strategies for each question asked and thus strengthen information security and improve operational efficiency at the university. Provided improvements to the direct beneficiaries, being the University Community and, indirectly, external people and Institutions linked to the institution. The study was feasible thanks to the collaboration of administrative staff, diagnosing information management in the organization, and designing effective strategies to improve information security, representing a significant advance in information management in the organization. |
