Evaluación agronómica de dos variedades de papa (solanum tuberosum) iniap-cip libertad y el clon 11991, bajo tres sistemas de almacenamiento en la Universidad Tècnica de Cotopaxi, Campus Salache.

The present investigation was carried out at the Technical University of Cotopaxi in the Salache Campus, Eloy Alfaro Parish, Latacunga Canton, Province of Cotopaxi, the property is located at an altitude of 2750 meters above sea level whose geographical coordinates are 78°37'14" West Longitude and 00°59'14" South in the (GPS). It has a temperature of 14.2 and a relative humidity of 3% with a rainfall of 684.9 in a sandy loam soil and a pH of 6.5. In which the agronomic behavior of two varieties of potato "Solanum Tuberosum" under three storage systems is evaluated, as well as to identify the best storage system, determine the best potato variety and identify the best interaction. The research was carried out in the field with seed stored in thin tarpaulins, The research was carried out in the field with seed stored in thin tarpaulins, drawers and verdiamiento of the two varieties INIAP-CIP Libertad and Clone 11991 which was planted 3 furrows of each storage system was planted 9 of INIAP-CIP Libertad and 9 of Clone 11991 in total were 18 furrows was done 3 repetitions of each of the furrow in which once finished the whole process of planting was done to take the data of the percentage of germination at 33 days in which it was better in the variety INIAP-CIP Libertad in the storage system of INIAP-CIP Libertad and 9 of Clone 11991 in total there were 18 furrows INIAP-CIP Libertad in the storage system of drawers with 63 percent and the Variety Clone 11991 is the best verdiamiento system with a 64 percent which were taken 6 data from each storage system and the two varieties was done every week as the height of the plant and when flowering began was taken. and when flowering began, the number of branches at flowering was taken. For this research, a 5% Tukey statistical analysis was performed using an ADEVA table to obtain the mean of the data and the plant height had a coefficient of variance of 4.12 at 89 days, in addition to the number of branches at flowering,12 at 89 days also in number of branches at flowering has a coefficient of variance of 10.54 Tukey test was not performed because it had no significance but the means were taken into account resulting in the INIAP-CIP Libertad variety is better than Clone 11991 and the best storage system is in drawers as it allows the tubers to be distributed evenly and can receive adequate aeration.
