Итог:at Mejia town, Pichincha province was developed this research. This town has a group of beekeepers, who have not had support from the institutions in charge of this important economic sector, to get a quality record and sanitary permits that allow their commercialization. Most of the productions are packaged and marketed by the producers themselves, in the same location, without adequate profitability, since it is not in great demand and they have to store large quantities, without having good conditions for it. To design a honey packaging plant using a production process simulation to measure the efficiency indicators was the general objective of this research. On it, an applied, exploratory, descriptive, correlational and explanatory research was carried out, with a mixed design. In the same, the best ways for the design and construction of an automated bottling plant were studied and the plant simulation was carried out too, determining the efficiency indicators. A study of supply and goods demand were developed, as well as the times study in each factory process. SKETCH Up pro computer system was used for the factory design and the PROMODEL for the simulation. The financial study showed that it is a viable invest. The factory was made up of three locations, one for the honey storage, another for the packaging and storage line, and a third for the goods marketing and sale in its different forms of packaging. This simulation corroborated the productions and the expected times according to the selected machinery.
