Streszczenie:The Salasaka community is one of the main ethnic groups who lives Tungurahua province, it is a community that subsists mainly from agriculture and its handicrafts, like several ethnic groups, this community has several cultural manifestations, one of these is the Caporales Festival or also known as the Black and White Festival, this celebration symbolizes the emancipation of this community from the Spanish yoke, however, as time goes by, the scarcity of graphic resources; The symbolism and cultural value of this celebration has been lost and made invisible with respect to other popular festivities in Pelileo canton. That is why this project has as aim to revalue and disseminate the Caporales Festivity, as well as to encourage citizens of Pelileo canton to appreciate the cultural importance of this popular festival, through digital illustrations of the main characters that make up this festival. The illustrations will be represented in an Artbook and Digital Postcards, visual supports proposed to promote the cultural folklore of the Salasaka community, thus making known the historical and cultural background of this popular festival and who are each of these main characters that compose this typical festivity. The research project has research techniques such as: bibliographic, documentary and field, which was executed to recognize the main characteristics of the party and its characters. In addition, interviews were conducted with notable characters from the Salasaka community to inquire into the history and main characteristics of the characters' costumes. Thus, experts in illustration were interviewed to determine the feasibility of development and distribution of the digital vector illustrations through digital media. In addition, the creative process was used for the development of illustrations based on the methodology of the six hats to think of Edward de Bono that through six phases allowed to xiii create the visual digital product of seventy pages in which the construction of Illustrations and postcards are showed.
