description The study that establishes the prevalence of zoonotic enteroparasite helminths and associated factors in domestic dogs (Canis familiaris) was carried out in the Cuilche Miño neighborhood of San Juan de Pastocalle Parish. Because of, there is a parasitic infestation in the dogs of the sector, causing a public health problem. For what is considered evidence through a scientific basis through bibliographical consultations, in order to allow to establish the associated factors with which the dogs are exposed and in turn recognize the parasites that are deployed in the stool tests, so that it can be correlated the obtained results from the associated factors and zoonotic enteroparasite helminths, to socialize them with the owners and inhabitants of the neighborhood. The research was carried out by a sampling of 75 random dogs from the Cuilche Miño neighborhood, where surveys were applied to the owners of the dogs, related to the associated factors and clinical records to the dogs. The samples were collected in sterile covers directly from the dog´s anus; the samples were identified and transported for their respective processing. The analysis of the samples was made in the laboratory of the Technical University of Cotopaxi. The prevalence of enteroparasite helminths found in the study was 92%. The parasites found in the dogs were: Ancylostoma caninum (74%), Toxocara canis (29%), Uncinaria stenocephala (26%) and Dipylidium caninum (17%); There is a multiparasitism in the dogs studied. It is essential to take into account the high presence of Ancylostoma sp., because it is a parasite which represents a problem for public health, creating one of the main causes of zoonotic diseases. For the study of the associated factors, the surveys and clinical histories were taken into account, where it was demonstrated that the parasitic prevalence is associated with the availability of a wide space (98.7%), leaving 4 or more times from home (94.7%), live on land (52%), coexist with other animal species (97.3%), the owners never collect the dogs´ stools (76%), they are fed with leftovers from home (85.3% ), replaced the water one day at a time (88%), did not receive vaccines (80%), did not receive deworming (90.7%), did not have veterinary control (90.7%). Results which cause a social and environmental impact at the same time. Assuming the social impact to children as vulnerable individuals to the zoonotic parasitosis of enteroparasite helminths. While that in the environmental impact, the factors that are associated with dogs, which are responsible for the presence of parasites in domestic dogs

While that in the environmental impact, the factors that are associated with dogs, which are responsible for the presence of parasites in domestic dogsEl estudio que establece la prevalencia de helmintos enteroparásitos zoonóticos y factores asociados en caninos domésticos (Canis familiaris), se realizó en el barrio Cuilche Miño de la Parroquia San Juan de Pastocalle.
