Gaia:Nowadays, soil erosion has caused a reduction in pasture production, which has led to inefficiency in milk production in the majority of small and medium producers in the Ecuadorian highlands. Commonly chemical fertilizers have been applied to compensate for soil deficiencies. However, the chemical elements are assimilated by the plants roots in low proportion, since they diffuse in a small diameter around them. On the contrary, organic fertilizers provide both chemical elements and promote the root development of plants as well. Therefore, it is proposed to determine the effect of microorganisms inoculation and nutrients contained in a biol in soil composition, quantity and nutritional value of a forage mixture. The experimentation was carried out in the Agricultural Production Unit (UPA) LYG located in Quito - Ecuador. The Biol to be used is produced by a HOMEBIOGAS 2.0 BIODIGESTOR with the ability to transform 12 k of organic matter and energy daily (2 hours of gas). The study considered two treatments (Biol and Chemical Fertilization) plus a control treatment. The effect of the treatments was assessed by soil analysis (pH, organic matter, and macro and micro minerals) and bromatological (protein, ethereal extract, fiber, ashes and organic matter) of the grass. The presence in the biol of bacteria containing nifM gene in the treatments. At the end of the project it was concluded that in SOIL: the pH is maintained in a slightly acidic range, varying the level of (P) and (Mg), maintaining the levels of B, while with the use of both treatments the level of (Fe) and (Mn).
