Summary:The present research had as general objective to evaluate the performance of human talent and its incidence in the provision of services in the commercial microenterprise sector of the Valencia canton which emerged as an investigative contribution because the commercial sector generates a great economic contribution to several families of the canton And deserves to be analyzed in order to promote the continuous development of these businesses. For the development of the proposed objectives, the types of research were used: the field for the application of surveys, the bibliographic research for the development of the scientific foundation and the descriptive research that was used in the presentation of results, the analytical methods were Great relevance because they allowed to deduce and analyze results obtained from the 292 owners, 366 employees and 365 clients that formed the sample of the investigation. The results of the situational diagnosis allowed us to know that there is a low level of application of human talent performance evaluation techniques among the microenterprises in the commercial sector, and the processes most evaluated are the job performance of the designated position, based on subjective knowledge criteria. In addition, it was determined that there is customer dissatisfaction due to factors such as the poor attention of the employees and technical knowledge of the products that are sold. In view of the above results, the design of a human talent performance evaluation model was considered, which strengthens the technical competences through the evaluation of knowledge and skills, the managerial competences with an evaluation instrument aimed at the owners and evaluation methods to know The level of productivity and creativity of employees, which will be of great benefit in making decisions about human talent that allow to achieve a higher level of satisfaction when making their purchases.
