| Gaia: | The visual communication as theoretical, scientific, bibliographic, illustrated and photographic information of the birds in danger of extinction of the Zone 3 in the national parks and ecological reserves of Cotopaxi, Tungurahua, Chimborazo and Pastaza are scarce, therefore it was necessary to realize an editorial product using graphic illustration techniques and diagramming processes to obtain a infographic as an outcome. The bibliographic research techniques collected information on the following birds: Andean condor, curiquingue, red and chiloe macaw, hummingbird of the Andes and hawk, also the technical information of the processes and vectorial illustration phases. Each trait and morphological characteristic of these species was creatively made, the same ones that were designed with a realistic and detailed style by vector art. The themes that are included in the graphic proposal are; the scientific name of the species, vulnerability, feeding, geographic location, measurements, and physical characteristics. This was achieved through exploratory research, both the qualitative through interviews and the quantitative in the surveys. We have used the design methodology proposed by Hans Gugelot wich is based on the construction of a graphic product through stages, establishing the creative process and the phases of illustration and edition of the infographic. The impacts of the project are: environmental; by generating resources that transmit information about the care of these species. Social because the research was linked to the direct beneficiaries of the sector. Cultural, as an endorsement of the protection and promotion of environmental diversity. Technological tools as researching in the execution and application of methods for the construction of editorial products, especially infographics and illustration. As a final result from the investigation, the information became a detailed exemplification of each bird, being an information tool where the illustration was the main center of the product, which attracted the attention of the public. |
