Uso de herramientas tecnológicas del turista que visita la provincia de Tungurahua en tiempos de pandemia antes y después del confinamiento.

This research project was carried out with the purpose of analyzing the data obtained at the time of inquiring tourists about the use of technological tools they use when they visited the province of Tungurahua before and after the pandemic during the confinement, for which a statistically comparative research was done, It is also a bibliographic research since the information was compiled through documents such as books, theses, magazines and articles, which helped to support the scientific basis. Likewise, we proceeded to calculate the sample size with an infinite population because we do not have a database of the number of tourists arriving in the province, being the study variable the use of technological tools with which we defined the use of technological tools before and after the pandemic, defining the total number of 385 surveys which were applied in the different cantons of the province of study, resulting in the use of technological tools in tourism have increased; The hypothesis was also tested, resulting in the alternative hypothesis H1: If there is a significant difference between before and after the pandemic, it can be evidenced that today people use technological tools more frequently since the use increased from at least 1 to 2 hours a day and reaching the use of 6 to 8 hours a day. Therefore, in the conclusions it could be determined that the confinement made tourists focus more on the use of technological tools, which is positive for the tourism sector since it can be used as a means of promoting services or tourist attractions, thus streamlining the activities related to tourism.
