Add Tag | Summary: | The purpose of this research project is to record, control, visualize, and manage large amounts of information by teachers and students on the various activities carried out by the university, being essential the use and application of ICT's such as the computer system for registration and control of activities for the Center for Promotion and Social Communication of the Technical University of Cotopaxi in La Maná, allowing a better distribution, control, and management of information, keeping it updated on each activity carried out by the institution, thus showing these activities by majors and faculties benefiting the university community. For the development of the computer system, the information was collected in conjunction with the coordinador of the Continuing Education Department, thus obtaining the functional and non-functional requirements consisting of several modules such as user module, records module, activities module, administrator module, and the agile Scrum methodology was also used, which allowed developing the system in an orderly manner, complying with all phases of this methodology such as analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation, using free development tools such as Netbeans Ide, object-oriented programming language Java, PostgreSQL database manager, adjusting to the requirements of the system. As a result, the university's teachers and students will be able to access information on all the activities carried out by the institution through its technological equipment through the use of the computer system. |
