Beskrivelse
Summary:Oxygen is the vital element in cellular metabolic process for the transformation of the energy required in the work they do every cell of an organic system. The maximum oxygen consumption (VO2 Max.), could be decreased relative to normal parameters in people with overweight and obesity (SO), causing muscle fatigue and effort to mechanical work. The objective of this research is to demonstrate the impact of the SO in physical work capacity (CFT) represented in the VO2 Max. in the persons of the flower company Las Marías Flormare, in 2014. For the determination of SO biceps, triceps, sub scapular and supra iliac (plicometría) female and male staff of the company: the BMI and measuring the folds was used. For measuring the C.F.T. that values VO2 Max. in liters per minute (l / min), whose normal range is 3 - 3.5 l / min, the test of step (Manero, 1991) was used.. The universe is 143 people and 61 (42.66%) are in SO, this group 45 (31.47%) women and 16 (11.19%) men, clearly the greater tendency of females to SO In 49 (80.33%) people with S.O. There is a significant decrease in VO2 Max. whose average value of 1,998 l. / min. (Normal value of 3 - 3.5 l / min) compared to 12 (19.67%) persons within normal range with an average value of 3,379 l / min.. (Normal value of 3 - 3.5 l / min). With these results the questions are checked, the maximum oxygen consumption is decreased in people with overweight and obesity
