The rituals inside and outside of the cemeteries are part of the guaytacamences culture. The main believe of the dead people return to alive people’s world has developed that people eat different types of food in the cemeteries, fixing the graves, put flower decoration around and pray for them because this is a meaningful tradition of the society. The ideas and imaginaries, thinking about death and life, the universe and divinities are just part of the myths which are involved into our traditions. In the catholic dogma, death doesn’t mean state of inertia in this case a state of transformation where the soul leaves the human body to live in the eternity from there the myth of the day of dead. |

Los rituales dentro y fuera de los cementerios han formado parte de cultura de los Guaytacamences, la creencia de que los espíritus vuelven al mundo de los vivos ha hecho que la gente comparta alimentos en el campo santo, arreglen las tumbas, hagan ofrendas florales y oraciones acompañados de cantos hacen que esta tradición este en el pensamiento de la sociedad. Las ideas e imaginarios, sobre la vida y la muerte, el universo y las divinidades están representados en los conceptos, los significados de los mitos, los símbolos y las alegorías que encierra este día, de allí la importancia de abordar la reflexión sobre el imaginario mesoamericano y la hibridación de las tradiciones, es así que se busca el sentido y la lógica simbólica de tras de estos actos.
