| Résumé: | The present research aims to conduct a study about the selection processes of aspiring teachers in the Latacunga Cantón, which allows to know closely the actuallity that they must assume to obtain a quota of admission to teaching careers, such as a contribution to the study of the Career of Basic Education at Technical University of Cotopaxi. This research has been carried out through a survey at teachers in active service of Latacunga Cantón, which also focuses on students who have aspirations to practice the profession of educators, so that they can orient themselves and assume with responsibility the arduous task of educating. Through the bibliographical consultation of different authors, mainly of Idalberto Chiavenato on how the processes of selection of staff are carried out, the tests that are applied and which should be the ideal profiles according to the requirement of the situation. Subsequently the bibliographic record and the survey were applied as instruments of data collection, through the scientific and deductive methodology. The instrument was applied to the sample extracted from the teachers of Latacunga Cantón whose results allow to evidence of different points of view, which are mostly positive, but at the same time show certain shortcomings that can be seen in the statistical graphs of the present research, Generally found opposition to whether a body should choose the career to be pursued by students, 89% considered this question to be negative, arguing that students should choose careers by their affinity to strengthen learning ties to avoid dropout in the future. With the present investigation it is expected to contribute, that the selection processes must be established according to the parameters in force, with priority to inclusion. |
