Sumari:In the present investigation, the development of a computer software that allows calculating the electrical and mechanical parameters of the conductors in the overhead and underground distribution systems is proposed, taking into account the internal factors of the conductor and the environmental conditions to which they are subjected. subjected. For the development of the software, it focuses on the methodology proposed by the IEC-60287 standard for the calculation of the maximum current that the underground conductors will support and, in turn, the IEEE 738 - 2012 standard will be used, which will take into account the external parameters that primitive to the conductor such as surface temperature, ambient temperature, height, wind speed, operating time, length of the conductor, among others, in addition said regulations indicate that the characteristics of the conductor must also be considered, characteristics that correspond to the construction and the materials with which the conductors have been manufactured.
