Diseño y elaboración de un tanquero móvil para almacenamiento de agua con dispensador de sales minerales direccionado al sector ganadero del cantón Latacunga provincia de Cotopaxi

This technological proposal seeks to reduce distances in the transportation of dairy cattle through the construction of a mobile water storage tank with a mineral salt dispenser, located in the grazing area to increase milk production and avoid the exhaustion of the animal, thus improving the activities of the farmer and avoiding forced labor. In this technological proposal, studies of water consumption and quality of the springs near the farm are carried out in order to verify the state of the same by which hydration is provided to the dairy cattle, in the same way all the mechanisms that the tanker has to perform are designed and selected, Therefore, the correct selection of the materials and regulations used for its subsequent construction is ensured, by means of the tests carried out on the water quality, it is evidenced that it is a water suitable for consumption, complying with the permissible ranges, managing to deliver a quality water to the animal in its daily journey. A 1700 liter tank was built with a 1 HP pump to fill the tank during the days required for the dairy cattle. Thanks to this technological proposal, an increase of 67% of milk was generated with an amount of 14440 liters per month, where it was determined that the tank can be filled in two days during the day. The cost of the tanker was determined to be $2723.45.
