Özet: | The moorlands of the Isinliví parish are fragile ecosystems and of great importance to conserve water and biodiversity, the objective of this project was to determine the multitemporal changes in land use between the years 2013 - 2023 of the moorlands of the Isinliví parish, province of Cotopaxi, this multitemporal analysis was carried out with the help of satellite images, for which the Corine Land Cover methodology was used, A transition matrix was created to identify the changes in crop coverage, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) were used for the digital processing of satellite images with the supervised classification technique, and a multi-temporal analysis of qualitative descriptive variables was also carried out, comparative between the years mentioned, for the diagnosis, visits were made to the study area and the flora and fauna were identified, As a result, it was established that the páramo has 5148.57 ha and was classified into six classes of land use: bush, pasture, leguminous, tubers, cereals and herbaceous zone, it was identified that in 2014 the herbaceous zone was the most extensive, In 2014 the herbaceous zone was the most extensive, with an area of 1745.75 ha, but over the years in 2022 the herbaceous zone had a reduction due to the fact that the local inhabitants increased the pasture to 1230.36 ha, which serves as food for livestock, It was also observed that the classifications with the highest tendencies of land use change are the moor with 15.2%, herbaceous zone with 7.1% and leguminous, pasture with 6.9%, in conclusion we can say that the changes that the moor had in the different types of land use during the period of 10 years were evidenced, due to the increase of pasture, it is also recommended to use the information obtained for a good management and conservation of the moor ecosystems. |
