Descrição
Resumo:At the Andean Grains Laboratory, Campus (CEASA) in the Technical University of Cotopaxi was conducted this research, with the objective of providing sustainable alternatives for the control of the apex fly (Anthomyiidae), by using different ozone concentrations in water The pupa fly collection was carried out in the chocho crops of -El Chan- neighborhood, in Cotopaxi province, through the plants identification infected by the pest. Through a destructive practice, flies were obtained in a pupal state for their subsequent breeding. A Completely Random Design (DCA) of 4 treatments with 5 repetitions was implemented giving a total of 20 experimental units. We used the water ozonizer (QJ-8003K) and an ozone meter (Palintest) with 2 concentrations (0.5 -0.8 ppm) and two application frequencies (4 - 6 times in 2 days), which were applied in the fly of the with apex. The best treatment for the environmental control of the apex fly was the T4, with a concentration of 0.8 ppm and a frequency of 6 applications in two days of ozonated water with a mortality percentage of 70%. A direct effect was observed in the halteres or seesaws affected the stability during the fly flight, in the same way it was evidenced an alteration in the eyes color of the fly changing from red to black, finally it was seen a considerable reduction in the abdominal part.
