| Περίληψη: | The research project addresses the problem of the affective area in the teaching-learning process, considering the little interest that educational programs and their own teaching work place to promote the adequate development of the affective area in students, therefore prioritizing the contents of the different areas of knowledge, so that students reflect deficiencies in this development, such as poor interpersonal relationships, low control over their emotions, low tolerance to adversities and frustrations that prevent them from having an adequate development. The objective of the research was to analyze the components of the child affective area to determine its incidence in the teaching-learning process, for which a methodology focused on the qualitative approach, the bibliographic-documentary and field research, and the application of survey, interview and observation techniques applied to parents, teachers and students of the Millennium Education Unit “Cacique Tumbalá”. The beneficiaries of the research were the students, teachers, parents and authorities of the Second Year of Basic Education of the Educational Unit of the Millennium "Cacique Tumbalá", located in the Zumbahua parish of the Pujilí canton in the province of Cotopaxi. The contribution of research at the theoretical level is the scientific basis through the contribution of various authors who support the importance of the affective area in educational processes through the deployment of the categories of the dependent and independent variable. The contribution at the practical level lies in the application of instruments that allow obtaining measurable data of the current situation of the affective area deployment in the second year of basic education, based on the teaching work and the children's attitudes and reactions with respect to the subject of study. As a result of the present investigation, it has been established that second-year students have deficiencies in the development of affectivity, the same ones that originate in the family environment due to the weakening of the affective bonds between parents and children and also environmental factors; education as the poor quality of interpersonal relationships between peers, which affects their performance and academic performance; establishing that the lack of affectivity has a negative impact on the Teaching Learning process, preventing the student from having a satisfactory cognitive development and also in unfolding situations in society. |
