Evaluación del zingiber officinale (jengibre) en 3 dosis (5, 10, 15%) en el agua de bebida como promotor de crecimiento en pollos broiler del cantón Mejía, parroquia Aloasi, barrio SAN ROQUE.

ABSTRACT The research work was carried out in San Roque neighborhood, Aloasi Parish, belonging to the Mejia Canton Pichincha Province, with the following geographical coordinates latitude: -0.527394, longitude: -78.594775, altitude: 277.011 masl, average temperature: 11 ° c, daylight hours / day: 12 hours, wind: southeast – northeast. The project was carried out with 80 experimental units at the age of 1-day old during the growth and fattening phase in order to evaluate the effect of three inclusion levels of Zingiber officinale (ginger) in drinking water as a growth promoter, attached to the productive parameters. Chickens will be assigned to 3 treatments; T0- (control treatment + Base diet), T1 - (5% Ginger addition + Base Diet), T2 - (10% Ginger addition + Base Diet), T3 - (15% Ginger addition + Base Diet) The application of these treatments was given over the first two weeks of life, that is, the application will start from day 16 to day 49, dividing this process into two phases. The first one as the initial phase (0-28 days) and the second as phase of fattening and completion (28-49 days). At the end of the project in the initial phase it was possible to show better results in the weight of T3 with a difference of 602.14g of T0, for weight gained it is evidenced that T0 exceeds T3 with 75.97g, in the consumption of T0 food has a lower consumption than T3 with a difference of 38.86g, for the food conversion a difference of 0.54g was found between treatments giving the lowest result to the T0 treatment and the highest to the T3 treatment. On the other hand, for the fattening and finishing phase, better results were recorded, both in weight with a difference of 741.63g, in weight gain with 123.6g and in food consumption with 172.2g for these two treatments, maintaining T3 in with the highest indexes in the registers. However for the food conversion a difference of 2.05g was found between treatment T0 and T3 showing the lowest result to treatment T0 and the highest to T3.
