Sumario:The Pucará Hydroelectric Power Plant is made up of two groups of Turbine-Generator-Transformer of 40MVA each. For these reasons, the investigative work is carried out taking into account that the behavior of the generators and their empirical use based on factory configurations are unknown. The objective of the project is to carry out an analysis of the parameters of the generation stage by comparing historical data in the period 2015 to 2020. The research uses investigative and deductive methods through a comparative analysis of parameters with which it is determined which ones intervene in the electricity generation using the information collected in situ, which corresponds to the operation of the plant during the period from 2015 to 2020. This analysis establishes the importance of the specific parameters that influence the generation stage, such as: the flow, active power, reactive power, stator current and injector opening. With the determination of the parameters, the operation of the generation stage is analyzed, comparing the behavior of each parameter produced in the power plant during the time analyzed, with the nominal values that characterize the Pucará Hydroelectric Power Plant since the year of its implementation. Through the analysis of the important parameters in the generation stage, it was possible to verify the operation of the two generation units and determine the real efficiency of 51.30% of the Pucará Hydroelectric Power Plant in the period 2015 to 2020.
