The methodology used has a mixed qualitative-quantitative approach, with the field modality, bibliographic, using the deductive method. The focus group techniques were applied to the authority and teachers, a survey of parents and observation of children in initial education, with the data obtained, the shortcomings in cognitive development were evidenced, which led to the design of the guide proposal of Brain gymnastics to strengthen the cognitive development of children in initial education, which has fourteen innovative and complementary activities according to the age of the children, which after being applied, the results showed that when performing the brain exercises, the brain prepares, goes developing cognitive skills such as perception, attention, concentration, memory and language, giving way to the acquisition of skills, this is evidenced by the analysis of the pre-test and post-test, where progress was found in children of initial education . In addition, the proposal was validated by experts and users considering it to have a national impact since it can also be applied in other educational institutions. |

In addition, the proposal was validated by experts and users considering it to have a national impact since it can also be applied in other educational institutions.La presente investigación abordo como problemática las dificultades en el desarrollo cognitivo de los niños de educación inicial, debido a la emergencia sanitaria que aún se está atravesando los niños estaban limitados a ciertas actividades al permanecer mucho tiempo estáticos frente a un dispositivo electrónico (computador, celular), sin mayores movimientos y esparcimiento, mismos que son esenciales en los niños para nuevas conexiones neuronales razón por la cual el objetivo establecido fue fortalecer el desarrollo cognitivo de los niños de educación inicial de la Unidad Educativa “La Gran Muralla” aplicando la gimnasia cerebral. La metodología utilizada tiene un enfoque mixto cualicuantitativo, con la modalidad de campo, bibliográfico, utilizando el método deductivo. Se aplicó las técnicas focus group a la autoridad y docentes, encuesta a los padres de familia y la observación a los niños de educación inicial, con los datos obtenidos se evidencio las falencias en el desarrollo cognitivo, lo que conllevo a diseñar la propuesta guía de gimnasia cerebral para fortalecer el desarrollo cognitivo de los niños de educación inicial, misma que tiene catorce actividades novedosas y complementarias acorde a la edad de los niños, que luego de ser aplicada los resultados demostraron que al realizar los ejercicios cerebrales el cerebro se prepara, va desarrollando habilidades cognitivas como la percepción, la atención, concentración, la memoria y el lenguaje dando paso a la adquisición de destrezas esto se evidencia con el análisis del pre- test y post-test en donde se constató el avance en los niños de educación inicial.
