Resumo:In Pelileo canton, it is found expressions and complaints about the bad odors emitted by the agricultural sector with composting activities of anthropogenic origin; this being the central problem, where an immediate solution is not found and for the opposite the population who lives near to these activities shows health problems, in the long term it would affect the balance of the environment reflecting as one of the many causes of global warming (Gomez & Monteiro, 2012). The decomposition of fertilizers or organic matter is understood as a type of odorous environmental pollution due to the odors generated, although they do not become toxic they can cause discomfort, respiratory diseases to the population of the agricultural sector of Pelileo, so that pollution represents one of the most serious environmental problems, mainly in urban areas of the canton and people can come to perceive odors as a danger to their health, causing levels of discontent as negative as any other environmental problem (Bermudez., 2018). Due to the causes of odoriferous contamination, it has been decided to carry out the research project which consists of the application of efficient microorganisms in three different types of manure to be processed as fertilizers, with the main objective of evaluating three sources of efficient microorganisms in the organic matter of decomposition process, obtaining as results the collection, selection, application and significant difference between treatments. The methodology applied to fulfill the objective of the investigation is based on the collection of the microorganism from three assigned zones, then the solid and liquid multiplication for the application in the treatments (JICA Microorganism Technical Manual, 2015).
