| Summary: | The agricultural activity in Ecuador has a significant commitment in the economy of the country, that is the primary activity that drives the development of productivity, the Association of Autonomous Agricultural Workers October 22 is dedicated to the production and export of bananas to different parts of the world; at present, the Association has been affected by the lack of knowledge of the factors that influence its activity. That is the reason why this research focuses on analyzing the incidence of the factors of production in the agricultural profitability. The methodology is based on the quantitative approach, of a descriptive and explanatory type, using the survey and documentary as techniques; with this purpose, historical information on financial statements, factors of production, and economic indicators were compiled, which allowed analyzing and describing the performance of the Association regarding profitability. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that in the year 2017 the banana production made an inadequate investment in the factor of land and the labor factor, due to the deficient use of the factors; therefore the Association finds a balanced return. Finally, the impact of this project has the perspective to raise awareness among producers about the correct use of each of the factors to avoid higher costs and expenses and at the same time obtain greater profitability by minimizing costs and maximizing the use of inputs. |
