Zusammenfassung:Present paper focusses on the evaluation of the risk factors of fire at Guajalo Logistics Base of PETROECUADOR PUBLIC COMPANY, this facility is located to the south of the city of Quito; current evaluation is required to redesign the self-protection plan. An exploratory cross-sectional study was used and, it was developed through observation and analysis of the fire risk factors, to determine the relationship between variables. The method of study was field, since several activities were carried out to determine the risk factors, and in this way to redesign the self-protection plan. Then, safety inspections in each one of the areas that are part of the facility were carried out, where fire risk factors for workers were evident, by either conditions or substandard actions. At the same time, a survey was applied for all workers from different areas, in order to notice in a better way the risks involved in the facility, the evaluation was applied with Mosler method, and specifically for fire risk the calculus were done using Meseri methods for each area as well as fueling. Finally, proper conclusions and recommendations for the problem were established, in order that Guajalo Logistics Base of PETROECUADOR PC can take control measures more properly.
