| Gaia: | The present investigation was carried out at Technical University of Cotopaxi, at an altitude of 2725 m.a.s.l. with 78º37'14'' west longitude and 00º59'57'' south latitude, with the objective of evaluating the efficiency of the addition of three types of organic fertilizers and three doses in the cultivation of beans (Vicia faba), in bench terraces. A randomized full block design with a 3 x 3 + 1 factorial arrangement was applied, giving a total of 10 treatments and 30 experimental units. The investigation expressed the following results: in the percentage of germination, the humus fertilizer obtained the best average with 65.34% of germinated seeds; in plant height the T3 treatment (humus + 1.5 lb/plant) reached the first places in average at 45 days with 5.11 cm; 60 and 75 days with 28.4 cm; in addition the humus fertilizer in the same way obtained a final average of 26.87 cm of plant height. In number of leaves the same treatment obtained after 75 days an average of 29.60 leaves, for number of pods, it reached an average of 4.47. In the number of branches it was awarded an average of 14.6 branches per plant. For the number of flowers T2 (humus + 1.0 lb/plant) it obtained an average of 13.07. For the variable of grain weight, none of the treatments had statistical significance. It is concluded that the T3 treatment (humus + 1.5 lb/plant) obtained the highest investment cost in relation to the control treatment To. |
