Summary:Today the consumption of junk food has affected children’s integral development. The purpose of this study was to diagnose the nutritional status of children between 4 and 5 years old because it has not been implemented in their daily life through recreational activities. This process was carried out with the help of the educational community, especially teachers who are in charge of providing an innovative environment through games, songs, dramatizations, dance, etc. The methodology was both modelling and functional structural synthetic which allowed the development of this study in order to obtain clear and concise conclusions. In addition, this research study was carried out with pre-school education at “Hermano Miguel” Education Unit where parents were surveyed, the data indicates that there is a lack of knowledge of healthy diets, which recommends that all educational institutions should guide and train constantly to teachers and parents about this important aspect for the child’s integral growth. The implementation of nutritional strategies have achieved to avoid that children in the future suffer from diseases such as obesity, diabetes, brain disorders, mental deficiency, and even emotional trauma. In conclusion, the results determined that the development of good eating habits is possible through a healthy and fun way that measures the improvement of the children’s academic and cognitive levels. Therefore, the hyperactivity will be controlled and the health will improve. This generation of changes in the society help make a better world.
