Evaluations of the removed parameters were every 21 days and every seven days of the development of the plant during four months. The removal percentages were: nitrates 82,11%, phosphates lead 99,72% and 50%. The system with V. zizanioides varieties constitutes an alternative to improve water quality. |

El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar el efecto de V. zizanioides en la remoción de NO3, PO.4 y Pb en agua procedente del río Cutuchi. Para ello se instaló una isla flotante de 0,09 m2 en un cuerpo de agua de 115 litros (Tratamiento 1), tres repeticiones y un testigo. Las evaluaciones de los parámetros removidos fueron cada 21 días y cada siete días del desarrollo de la planta durante cuatro meses. Los porcentajes de remoción fueron: nitratos 82,11 %, fosfatos 50 % y plomo 99,72%.
