Efecto de l-carnitina en la respuesta productiva de lechones de 21-60 días en Salache - cantón Latacunga

The present investigation was carried out in the Province of Cotopaxi, LatacungaCanton, Eloy AlfaroParish, Salache TanilomaNeighborhood. The main objective of this search was to evaluate the effect of L - carnitine in the productive answer administered in piglets from 21 days until60 days of age, determining its influence in the productive variables as: weight gain of, nutritious conversion, thickness of body fat in specific areas of localization and cost - benefitrelationship. A Complete Design was managed at random, where two treatments were proven that resulted of the combination of the commercial balanced administration and the addition for 20 days of a commercial additive that in its composition has the presence of L- carnitine; Treatment 1 (1 ml of L - carnitine / administered orally/day/piglet); Treatment 2 (2 ml of L - carnitine / administered orally/day/piglet); Treatment 3 (as treatment control). The investigation was carried out with five observations for each treatment and the experimental unit was constituted by a pig, in total 15 castrated male pigs of Landrace race,after the weaning at the 21 days began with the rehearsal that lasted 19 weeks. Of the obtained results establish at the end of the investigation that the Treatment 2 (2 ml of L - carnitine / administered orally /day/piglet)....
