添加标签 | 总结: | This research project was carried out with the objective of selecting and developing a system of environmental sustainability indicators in the rural parish of Tanicuchí, Ecuador, in which it was carried out in two stages; The first was based on a qualitative study through bibliographic review, biophysical characterization and geographic information files of the study area. The second phase was carried out in information gathering through a quantitative study on the state of the ecosystems, environmental, economic and social problems of this place, at the same time, the tabulation of the variables was analyzed, which allowed the selection and development of indicators of environmental sustainability based on the economic needs of this rural area of the province of Cotopaxi, which allow guaranteeing the conservation of the natural resources of this place, based on evaluating the progress of socio-environmental sustainability following as a guide the Ecuadorian Environmental Regulations. For the development of the first phase, the methodology with a qualitative approach was used, for the elaboration of georeferential maps, in the collection of information the methodology with a quantitative approach was used, starting from surveys and interviews carried out with the population. Once the responses of the techniques used for the selection of environmental sustainability indicators were tabulated, a total of 24 indicators were generated, of which 12 are aimed at environmental activities in the areas of conservation and use of soil, air, water, biodiversity, waste management, 8 indicators aimed at the social sphere, encompassing employment, population growth, road access, 4 economic indicators, including sustainable livestock and consumer price index; Finally, mitigation, remediation and environmental monitoring measures are elaborated and established, with the objective of reducing the existing problems of the selected components, in order to promote sustainable development of the Tanicuchí parish.. |
