Evaluación del capital financiero de los productores agroecológicos de la provincia de Tungurahua, Cotopaxi 2022-2023.

This research aimed to evaluate the financial capital of the collection of information of the agroecological producers of "PACAT," an association located in Tungurahua province, distributed in the different cantons: Pelileo (48 members), Ambato (44 members), Pillaro (21 partners), Tisaleo (15 partners) and Quero (12 partners). The established objectives were to analyze the financial capital and determine the critical points that each one of the producers presents, allowing to know the current reality of each producer in the different associations; it was used a descriptive investigation with a qualitative and quantitative approach that includes the participation of 140 producers; through the use of primary and straightforward statistics, 25 questions corresponding to the financial indicators were analyzed, resulting in the verbal and commercial agreements that they have for the acquisition of inputs. To determine the critical points, a multivariate analysis was used (principal component analysis, cluster analysis, and radial graphs) that allowed identifying the lowest points that exist in financial capital, resulting in a general average of 0.30, referring to the difficulty that farmers have in accessing credit, it is, therefore, considered the most critical point of the investigation. Consequently, the producers' lack of knowledge, abilities, skills, attitudes, and capacities can give way to the lack of profitability in producing and commercializing their products.
