Add Tag | Summary: | The present project Design and Implementation of a statistical process control system for Platanera San Eduardo focuses on designing a statistical process control system for the production of barraganete banana boxes on the farm by implementing control charts along with a study of process capacity, with the purpose of proposing a controlled procedure, related to its dimension both in length and thickness during and at the end of the manufacture of the barraganete banana boxes. The methodology used was through field observation, exploratory research, bibliography sources, data collection and the use of Minitab 17 software as well as quality tools that allowed an analysis of the current situation of the company, whose function is to perform all the Statistical calculations used for the system to be implemented. Control letters will also be designed where the necessary data will be collected to obtain the results, a defect manual, Pareto diagrams, control limits, control charts to establish a baseline based on the capacity of the current process of the farm considering the specifications decreed in the current quality regulation NTE-INEN-2801. It is concluded that through dimensional charts compliance with the dimensional specifications based on the standard military table that was extracted from a total weekly population is around for the approximate of the 170 boxes of plantain barraganete. |
