Add Tag | Summary: | This integrative project was developed in the company Ronald Central Mayorista dedicated to the commercialization of products for stores, warehouses and supermarkets, it was determined the lack of procedures that affect the distribution, planning for inventory control, which affects decision making. The objective was to develop an inventory management manual for the company Ronald Central Mayorista located in Pichincha province, Mejia canton, based on the management and implementation of policies and procedures, which serves as a tool to improve efficiency, effectiveness and optimization in decision making. The methodology used is the quantitative and qualitative approach, where research techniques such as interviews and internal control questionnaires were applied, through which the problems in inventory management in the operations department were identified. As a result, an inventory management manual was developed that provides effective solutions to improve the procedures related to inventory management and control, establishing functions and processes to be followed when buying, selling and storing merchandise in an efficient and effective manner in order to assist in management decision making. |
