| Sažetak: | This project was carried out at the Technical University of Cotopaxi, in order to determine the conversion in rabbits at the stage of lactation and growth with a second progeny of genetic cross of CEYPSA in the absorbent type. To carry out the investigation were used 30 rabbits from New Zealand and mestizos, divided into 2 groups 19 rabbits at the stage of lactation and 11 rabbits at the stage of growth during a pilot phase of 10 weeks (70 days). It began with a proper control of the sanitary handling and identification, by means of areteo to all animals using aluminum earrings with numbering, for the study was placed the earring in the right ear. The conversion was carried out according to the forage available to the University will supply 500 grs. for the first week reaching 1000 grs. a week 10 to each animal, the daily consumption of food which was obtained by the difference between the food offered and the residue of food a day seven, tracking in written records. During the development of study was measured weekly average gain of weight of each group, also determined the average consumption of food daily to each of them. The determination of the value of MS was obtained from an oven at 100 degrees Celsius for 14 hours. Identified the nutritional value of forage by determining the amount of dry matter in each categorizing Alfalfa, Ray Grass, Kikuyu, and plantain. In conclusion in accordance with the response to the different stages in the category 1 was the one that best responded; in which the job was observed a higher consumption of food as body weight gain compared with the category 2.Were database a collected was of pesos weekly, concluding that the gain weight at the growth stage category 1 New Zealander obtained a profit of weekly weight in grams of 85.18 grs as the most efficient in front of the category two mestizos with 72.8 grams. |
