The pig farm has a total of 15 pigs that generate a daily manure production of 23.5 kg per day of excreta and biogas production of biogas 1.198 m^3 per day, therefore, the aim is to design a small plant that will allow treatment of hog manure generated in The Salache Campus and in the same way to obtain electric power, in order to reduce energy costs. This project was carried out in order to assess the resource and sizing a system of generation to provide part of the electrical power in the UTC`s poultry, in such a way that based on the calculations obtained a total of 2.635 kwh per day. Besides, conducted a design guide for the production of biogas through a tubular biodigester system where also determines the necessary calculations to establish the size of the ditch and elements necessary to operate the biodigester. We analyzed the installed load for the estimation of demand for poultry and granted will need a generator of power 800 W for providing part of the electrical energy of the poultry. |

We analyzed the installed load for the estimation of demand for poultry and granted will need a generator of power 800 W for providing part of the electrical energy of the poultry.El propósito de este proyecto de tesis es el estudio de nuevas fuentes energéticas que nos permitan una generación eléctrica más limpia y amigable con el medio ambiente, en este ámbito se puede considerar el aprovechamiento del biogás obtenido a partir de la biomasa residual húmeda (estiércol de cerdo) que se genera en la granja porcina ubicada en la cuidad de Latacunga, campus Salache. El criadero porcino cuenta con un total de 15 cerdos que generan diariamente una producción de estiércol de 23,5 kg/día de excretas y una producción de biogás de 1.196 3 í, por ello, se pretende diseñar una mini planta que permita tratar las excretas de cerdos, generados en el campus Salache y del mismo modo permita obtener energía eléctrica, con el fin de abaratar costos energéticos. Este proyecto se ejecutó con fin de evaluar el recurso y dimensionar un sistema de generación que permita suministrar parte de la energía eléctrica a la avícola del campus Salache, de tal modo que en base a los cálculos realizados se obtiene un total de 2.631 kwh/día. Además se realizó una guía de diseño para la producción de biogás mediante un biodigestor tubular en donde se determina también los cálculos básicos para establecer el tamaño de la zanja y elementos necesarios para operar el biodigestor.
