Ajouter un tag | Résumé: | This research project allows us to appreciate a problem that the floricultural sector has entailed since its inception, where the following question is posed: Do floricultural companies know their competitiveness index?; To answer this concern, the present research cites as its main objective to determine the competitiveness index of the floricultural sector in the Latacunga Canton, that is, to estimate how strong or weak this sector is considering internal factors such as strategic planning, production and operation, quality, marketing, human resources, finance and accounting and innovation and external and economic; infrastructure; socio-demographic; institutional and environmental which are encompassed in components, variables and indicators; data that were applied as an example of Fonseca Hernández of Territorial Competitiveness, secondary data were used for the cantonal competitiveness index. Next, the business index was estimated using the IDB Competitiveness Map, based on primary information collected through a questionnaire made up of 7 internal variables of the companies. The research was conducted through a quantitative approach, descriptive type, the design is field research, for which the technique of the survey applied to the 73 flower companies was used. After obtaining the cantonal competitiveness index of 0.67 and business with a result of 0.78, we proceeded to calculate the index at the sectoral level of Latacunga Canton with a value of 0.72, where it was diagnosed that the companies are visionary, maintain high efficiency, working together with the entire organization and are prepared to face changes in their environment so they are in a stage V, Very Good level of competitiveness. |
