Resumo:Nowadays Evaluation and accreditation process to give a quality education are the center of attention of many researchers. As a consequence of that thee is a need of implement a betterment strategy in the Academic management to stablish the actions that allow to fulfil the parameters already stated by the Council of Evaluation and Accreditation of the Higher Education Quality (CEAHEQ). The problem situation lies in the question How to better the social impact generated by the academic management of the postgraduate unit in Cotopaxi Canton. This statement is based on the relationship that should exist between the university and the society as well as in those aspects inherent to the function of the university. The main objective is to design an strategy of continuous betterment for the academic management of the postgraduated unit in the technical Cotopaxi university. This is a descriptive and exploratory research done with a field study and the bibliographic. Documentary field of study- as a conclusions it is stated that there is no impact in the society, that is why there is a requirement to stablish the design of a better way that helps to solve this situation and mainly the impact in the environment.
