总结:This research was carried out in the Salache Experimental Center (CEASA) of the Technical University of Cotopaxi, whose objective was to evaluate the application of two protocols on the superovulation response (eCG) and their impact on the ovarian response, ovarian structures, and embryo quality. Three females were selected, one of them was distributed in protocol No. 1 and the two ones in protocol No. 2, considering the body condition, age and, of course, the phenotypic characteristics of each female. These females were subjected to two protocols of superovulation in which the following hormones were used: eCG (NOVORMON), GnRH (CONCEPTAL) and prostaglandin (ESTRUMATE), there were variations in protocol No. 1 where a single dose of Novormon was applied (1200 IU) on day 1 while in protocol N ° 2 two doses of Novormon were applied on day 1 (800 IU) and day 3 (400 IU) respectively; seven days later the researcher proceeded to perform the gynecological check and after that the washing of embryos. Within the results, a great ovarian response was obtained concerning the number of follicles and corpora lutea after application of eCG the number of embryos could not be evaluated because there was no fertilization. For the analysis of the data, an analytical - descriptive statistic was used. To conclude at the time of evaluating the superovulation response, it was determined that there was a large number of structures at the level of the ovary (follicles, corpora lutea) with an increase in their size which demonstrates a positive response to the application of the eCG. Embryo quality assessment was not considered because the protocols used do not affect fertilization.
