The methodology applied for it, had a mixed approach with the application of the deductive, bibliographical, historical and dialectical method. The techniques applied were the survey and observation. The results have allowed corroborating the existence of difficulties in the development of cognitive functions of perception, attention, memory, language and thought, as well as the low level of knowledge and application of neurocerebral gymnastics by teachers. |

Sin embargo, se consideró que en la actualidad no se aprovechan estas estrategias en el contexto de la Educación Inicial. El objetivo de la investigación fue estimular el desarrollo cognitivo por medio de la gimnasia neurocerebral en los niños y niñas de 4 a 5 años del nivel de Educación Inicial de la Escuela Isidro Ayora. La metodología aplicada para ello, tuvo un enfoque mixto con la aplicación del método deductivo, bibliográfico, histórico y dialéctico. Las técnicas aplicadas fueron la encuesta y la observación.
