| Shrnutí: | The characterization of the tenure and morphological from Ecuadorian Creole donkey. It was developed at Mulalillo, Cusubamba, Alaquéz, Joseguango, Mulaló and San Ramón parishes, belonging to the Cotopaxi province. It took as sample 100 adult donkeys, in where it did 16 body measurements in which morphological indices were determined in the animals. The present research has as objective to characterize the tenure system from Ecuadorian Creole donkey in Cotopaxi and its morphological structure as a contribution to its conservation and genetic improvement, as well as detailing the tenure system in order to establish the morph metric characteristics by means of a metric zoo, compass, tape measure for the standardization of data and determine if there is a correlation with the value, it presented in the tenure system an average life of 15 to 20 years, depending on care, food and their habitat, they are used as animals for loading and transport; The population studied remains in danger of extinction because it lacks a conservation program, genealogical records and reproductive control. According to the results obtained, and analyzed, they presented no statistical difference, but if there was a numerical difference in the 100 animals, in the statistical comparison between females and males there was no significant difference in the two sexes, except in the length of the face than in males are larger with a value of 31.17 ± 1.74 being the primary feature that only males have. |
