Summary:“Odres Honey”, is an agroindustry company engaged to the production of honey and its derived products. This company owns a great quantity of beehives strategically placed in different geographical areas of Ecuador. The control and maintenance of these hives can become unprofitable due to the vast distances between each area. It becomes an unsuccessful labor because of the loss of its economic resources such as: fuel and time. This document introduces the development of the Remote Monitoring and Control System of beehives for the “Odres Honey” Company as a technological solution to the problem through scientific research based on reliable bibliographic sources that allow obtaining information on the appropriate technologies to monitor the condition of a hive and transmit the information to a server hosted in the cloud at certain time intervals. There are physical variables in the hive which can affect the bee‟s health and productivity overall when these negatives events affect the variables, the ranges that guarantee the health and the stability of the hive were identified in this work. It illustrates the process to get information in order to present it in a web page to help professional beekeepers from “Odres Honey”. This system will help them to program a calendar with visits and inspections to the apiaries to avoid the loss of economic resources to the firm
