Lägg till en tagg | Sammanfattning: | The “Unidad Educativa Pucayacu” which is located in the province of Cotopaxi, La Maná canton, Pucayacu parish, has a history of more than two decades of educating citizens with excellence. Its educational model is face-to-face in the morning, covering the initial levels, basic education, and high school. To improve the academic performance of its students, the implementation of an academic monitoring system has been proposed. This system focuses on analyzing student performance at this institution, through a technological platform that allows collecting, processing, and analyzing information related to the academic progress of students. One of the main features was to provide real-time information on student progress, giving teachers and administrators the ability to make informed decisions to improve their performance. Academic tracking software would encompass various types of data, such as test scores, assignments and assignments, class attendance, behavior, and other observations relevant to evaluating student performance. The development of this system was based on open-source tools, such as the PHP programming language, the Bootstrap design framework, and the MySQL database. In addition, the XP (Extreme Programming) development methodology was used, which contributed to the success of the project. During the development process, different types of research were carried out. The field investigation allowed us to visit the institution and collect the requirements. Literature research contributed to developing a solid theoretical foundation, identifying best practices, and evaluating tools and technologies. All this information was essential to achieve a successful design and implementation of the academic monitoring system. |
