Summary:This project was carried out in the association of agricultural entrepreneurs "Chilla San Antonio" located in the parish of Canchagua, Canton Saquisili, Province of Cotopaxi, where the members of the association were characterized through socioeconomic indicators and occupational risk. The objective of this research was to determine the productive activities of the members of the association and to know the risks they are exposed to during their working days and to understand how the Covid 19 pandemic affected the members and their families, for which a survey with two blocks of questions was applied; in the first block the members of the association were characterized in a socioeconomic way and in the second block to determine the daily risks to which they are exposed, having the following results: The majority of members are Women and are in an average age of 41 - 50 years, engaged in agriculture, livestock and trade. 69.2% of the members of the association are regularly exposed to physical risk factors such as: heat, cold, sunlight, 92.3% of the members of the association are regularly exposed to these biological factors, such as: mosquito bites, among other indicators evaluated, in safety risks, 100% presented accidents and affections in their workplace, such as: cuts, falls, blows, etc., this has brought them musculoskeletal consequences. The indicators on the COVID-19 pandemic virus that we are currently going through, the level of exposure to this indicator is 69.2% which is at a low risk of contagion, however, some associates who passed this disease were the result of other activities to those of their daily activity. In view of these results, an improvement plan was generated to protect the health of the workers and to attend to the problems derived from the conditions of the work.
