Samenvatting: | This research was carried out in blackberry (Rubus glaucus Benth) crop in three localities in Tungurahua province (Píllaro, El Triunfo, and Run Tun), evaluating four products for the control of powdery mildew disease (Oídium sp.) Nowadays, powdery mildew affects the blackberry crop in a very considerable way, reaching 40% of losses in local production. The products used in this research were Bacillus subtilis Biological Control (5ml / l), Tryfloxystrobin Chemical Control (1ml / l) Penconazole (0.5ml / l), a product that farmers always use. Ethological: Washes (5ml / l potassium soap) with a random arrangement of complete blocks with three repetitions in each place; in already established plantations, severity estimate readings were taken in percentage on day one and day seven after its application, obtaining results of better control efficacy after having analyzed the data obtained for Bacillus subtillis and the worst Treatment 5 that consist on no products application. Similar results in the three locations were obtained; therefore, it has been possible to corroborate that there are new and better products to control powdery mildew and not always have to use chemicals. |
