| 要約: | The characterization of the creole donkey is a fundamental tool for its conservation and sustainable use. The objective of the present research was to characterize the tenancy system, morphometry, hematological and biochemical profile of the Ecuadorian Creole donkey in the province of Chimborazo, as bases for its conservation and genetic improvement. An interview was applied to 100 donkeys’ owners in Guano and Guamote Canton, Province of Chimborazo. 16 body measurements were made from which the morphological indices were determined in the 60 animals, the morphometric characteristics were determined by means of a zoometric pole and the standardization of data by means of descriptive statistics, from statisticians, mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, standard error according to age, sex and the sampling region. For the blood sampling, the automated neu- bauer quantification method was used. The calorimetric and enzymatic method was used for the biochemical profile. Variables were evaluated (hematocrit, hemoglobin, erythrocytes, mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin, mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration, platelets, leukocytes, neutrophils, lymphocytes, total proteins, asparatate-aninotransferase, Alaninotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, alkaline dehydrogenase, creatine kinase , Calcium, Phosphorus and Potassium). There is little information about this specie, making it difficult to manage them, which puts the conservation of this animal genetic resource at risk. It was determined that there is a Pearson correlation, with the morphometric values obtained from donkeys in the province of Chimborazo, with other donkeys. Obtaining as a result that the zoometric indices classified the creole donkey as longilineal and dolichocephalic. In most of the morphological variables, a sexual dimorphism prevailed towards males. In addition, blood samples were taken from 60 animals, classified according to sex; 30 males and 30 females, and age in the range (youth <5 years and adults> 5 years). The results showed average values for the Hematocrit race (39.56%), Hemoglobin (19.01 g / dL), Erythrocytes (5.91 × 106 / μL), Mean leukocyte levels (8.82 × 103 / μL). ) and Neutrophils (3.25 × 103 / μL). The biochemical profile showed values of Glucose (4.41 mmol / L) and Urea (4.63 mmol / L). It was determined that the variables under study do not show differences between females and males, nor between young donkeys and adults. |
