“Desarrollo de una aplicación web para la administración del Vivero San Gabriel de la ciudad de Ambato.”

Currently, technology is present in all areas such as education, commerce, advertising, document management, and processes. In the province of Tungurahua, Canton Ambato, Parish of Cunchibamba in the San Gabriel Nursery, it was found that there is no updated system for the management of commercial activities; for this reason, it is considered to facilitate the systematization of sales control. Field research techniques were applied to gain in-depth knowledge of the company's management needs, allowing the application of new technologies and the main processes' organization. Therefore, in the technical proposal development, the Iterative Incremental development method was used, consisting of four phases applied in each finished iteration. In contrast, for the dynamic design, the UML modeling language was used, for a better understanding of the system processes, through the environment of open-source tools including HTML, PHP, Bootstrap, and MySQL database communication, an efficient application was achieved that will systematize the information that the entity has. As a result of the web application was obtained modules of records of categories, products, workers, and customers and managed online sales and home deliveries of seedlings, providing a user-friendly graphical interface, generating benefits to employees of the nursery, strengthening its marketing process.
