| Sumario: | This research has the objective of designing an expansion plan for the importer "IMPORPALAC" of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, which allows opening a market in the Ecuadorian highlands, specifically in the city of Latacunga, since it is considered that the importing company has the capacity business to cover various needs in other market spaces that are not yet covered. To fulfill the purpose of the investigation, theoretical references on the expansion plan and everything that is about it were analyzed. The research was carried out under the quantitative approach, of a descriptive exploratory type, because important data was collected to be analyzed and described, precise information to respond to the problem posed. The survey was used as a data collection technique through a questionnaire of structured questions with closed questions, which was applied to 382 vehicle owners and 183 store owners. According to the diagnosis made, it was possible to know that there is a potential demand to cover, since there is a high percentage of people who purchase spare parts for their vehicles, however, there are not enough establishments that offer this type of product. In relation to this, an expansion plan was designed with various elements such as: environmental analysis, market study, strategic direction, strategy development, and a financial study, through which it was verified that the plan is totally feasible, given that the VAN and the IRR demonstrate it. |
