| Özet: | From ancient sawmills and coal mines to modern machine shops and space robots, pneumatics has become immensely important in streamlining and automating the workplace. Certain properties of compressed air make this medium ideal for use in modern manufacturing and production equipment. The Technical University of Cotopaxi La Maná Extension has technical educational courses such as Automotive Mechanics and its laboratories have multiple teaching equipment and many of them require the use of a centralized pneumatic system for their correct functioning. The purpose of this research project is to implement a centralized pneumatic system in the electromechanics laboratory of the Technical University of Cotopaxi Extension la Maná, for which it is necessary to obtain stable efficiency without pressure losses. Many of the equipment and tools that require pressurized air have the optimal working pressure in their specifications. For them, the study and design of a centralized pneumatic system has to be carefully studied and governed by the calculations made. For the project, a 3HP compressor was implemented, which according to the study has sufficient capacity to supply the laboratory. Half-inch tubes were also applied to achieve the appropriate pressure, resulting in a pressure loss value of 1.32, which is acceptable in the project. established system. |
