| Samenvatting: | Speaking is considered an indispensable skill in the English language, as it facilitates communication and understanding in the environment in which it is found, for this reason the way in which this skill is acquired depends on the methodology used to achieve it. On the other hand, the application of strategies used by teachers contributes to this process, allowing the development of oral expression in an adequate and coherent way. For this reason, the main objective of the present research work was to develop oral expression in second grade children of the Velasco Ibarra Educative Unit by stimulating Linguistic intelligence. This stimulation can be achieved with the application of different methodological strategies and to determine its effectiveness, a pretest and a post-test of oral development were applied to the students, in addition an English song Booklet was designed, which contains songs on various topics. of interest to children, with activities that are easy to understand and solve. The modality of this research is basic, descriptive in nature, supported by bibliographic and field research. For the data collection process, the questionnaire technique was used with its instrument the rubric. Then the data obtained were processed for subsequent analysis and interpretation. The results show that the application of this methodological strategy has a positive impact on the development of speech skills. Therefore, its use is recommended to assist students in their learning of the English language. |
