Résumé:The proposed project, whose general objective is the design of an agrotourist route for Guasaganda village, in La Maná city of the province of Cotopaxi. It is developed on the base of three specific objectives, which are about the analysis of the principal agrotourist resources in the zone that allowed the identification of the route, from which the base line of the boundaries of the study were obtained as a result, through visits of the field, interviews performed with agricultural laborers and the application of fact sheets based on the INPC to the same interviewees verifying the collected data and the state in which the zone of the study is found. This was the first objective. Secondly, a study about the national and local tourist demand was performed, which determined the requirements by means of the application of the study which allowed to establish the amount of interviews conducted with the tourists. The third objective was decisive to technically put together the agritourist route, the same that helped the diversification of the tourist offer in La Maná, involving Guasaganda, due to the limited development of tourist activities, having as a potential activity of agrotourist development in the agriculture sector. By these means, thanks to the development of this intent, the producers involved in the agrotourist route and the tourists, who make use of the route, result as direct beneficiaries. For the development of this project it was necessary to follow a methodological process that allowed the design of the route applying the quantitative and qualitative method, including techniques such as a focus group, surveys, interviews, direct observation, trips to the field, the design of the tourist guide, tourist guides and itineraries, etc. This method was followed with the goal of improving the quality of economic and social life of the tourist entrepreneurs by means of executing the agrotourist route.
