Zusammenfassung:In the research work entitled "Virtual education in a pandemic and its socio-emotional effects on children in Initial Education 2" the problem of the negative effects generated due to the virtual educational modality that was adopted due to the covid pandemic has been addressed. -19, where young children have been affected by the restriction of spaces for coexistence and socialization with their peers, which affects their proper socio-emotional development. The objective of the research was to determine strategies to counteract the socio-emotional effects that virtual education has generated in times of pandemic in the children of Initial Education 2 of the Dr. José María Velasco Ibarra Educational Unit. For this, a methodological design of mixed approach, applied modality, documentary and field bibliographic design has been used, through the application of interviews with teachers, surveys of parents and observations of children in Initial Education. With this, the results have been reached that show negative socio-emotional effects focused on the low level of perception, understanding and emotional regulation, expressiveness and socialization skills in infants. Therefore, an educational intervention proposal based on didactic strategies was designed to promote the socio-emotional skills of infants, through games, interactive didactic resources and playful activities, which has been validated by experts and users, attesting to its validity and relevance.
